You know I’m on a Diet- Pass the Diet Coke!

I can’t eat that…. I’m on a diet!

Have you ever said that?

I overheard someone yesterday at a restaurant ask a lady if she wanted regular or diet coke, and her response was Diet of course! You know I’m on a Diet!’

Well, that seems to be a problem if this person thinks Diet Coke is good for you. But it seems like that was Coke’s main marketing message. After all it is call Diet Coke. There are 0 calories, that’s the same as water! But is it really all that bad?

YES

You see it’s loaded with chemicals. One of the worst is artificial sweeteners. Combine the artificial sweeteners with caffeine and you have a super toxic concoction. But it tastes good. Yes it tastes good, to your mind. That’s because the exact special formula that Coke has literally spent hundreds of millions of dollars to perfect the formula that goes after your reward center in your brain and it hit those receptors giving you a tempory high, or a euphoria for even a temporary moment.

But eventually the euphoria wears off, and your on to your next fix. Partly to blame is dopamine. A neurotransmitter in your brain. It makes you aware of this hit to the reward center and you eventually become adduced or it becomes a habituation for you. Sometimes with Dopamine we simply can’t say ‘no’, because we have become habituated to it, or we are simply addicted to it.

And if we don’t get it, sometimes we feel even worse then if we did get it. That’s the power of dopamine. And that’s the power that substances like this and other substances (like food, sugar, carbs) have over us.

But it’s ok, you simply have to realize that you have an addiction, and like any addiction that is unhealthy for you it needs to be eliminated from your life.

First is awareness that’s most important.

Second realize what it’s doing to your body and your brain. Every time you get that euphoric feeling, brain cells are dying. Don’t believe me, Just look at the ingredients in Diet Coke. Did you know they actually use it to remove blood off the highways after major accidents. I’ve personally used it as a toilet bowl cleaner. Try it, it works awesome. But then you realize this is not something that I should be putting in my body.

3rd– start eliminating it. Cut back to 3/4 for a week or so, then drop another 1/4 until you are completely devoid of it. If you are in need of the caffeine switch to Isagenix’s organic black coffee, or try the E+Shot Energy Shot.

Or you can even try my healthy Mocha Coffee Version here:

Watch how you start feeling a lot better without in and watch how your body will start looking the way you want it to.

If everybody called Diet Coke what it really is— Fat Coke, then maybe people would realize this is one of the major causes of obesity, diabetes, overeating, feeling like crap, looking like crap, brain fog, forgetfulness, and so on and on.

Do yourself and favor and stop dieting!

Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? With thanks

naturally like your web site however you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to inform the truth on the other hand I will certainly come again again.
