Never worked out with a pumpkin before or haven’t worked out in a long time?? That’s ok! This is a great one to start with!
Don’t get weighed down by bags of Halloween candy this year; blast the extra body fat and holiday pounds and get in the spirit with a fun and festive workout that requires one piece of equipment that you’ll definitely have at home — a pumpkin!
Instead of focusing on the chocolate, candy corn, skittles, reeces pieces, and other spooky confection at your fingertips, celebrate with a workout that will tone your legs, abs, and arms. There’s no need to fear Halloween anymore when you have this workout on your side. Working out with a pumpkin is just like working out with a medicine ball—except you can’t do pumpkin slams or throws—duh! We’ve had a few casualties of pumpkins- no humans or zombies yet! It will be fun, pie will be served afterwards and you will sweat!

The workout will start 10:00 am on 10/28/17– Happy Halloween! And remember– the Buckeyes don’t play until 330 pm! Beat Penn State!
Recommendations for picking your pumpkin (YES, You will be working out with a pumpkin!)
- Men- Pick a pumpkin between 12-20 pounds depending on your strength level
- Women- Pick a pumpkin between 8-15 pounds depending on your strength level
- Teens 14+- Pick a pumpkin between 8-20 pounds
- Kids 6-13- Pick a pumpkin between 4-12 pounds
The event will be like none other before. Not just a workout, but an event- YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS! Working out with a pumpkin is awesome! It’s different, it’s fun, it’s for a good cause! You don’t want to miss it!
