Kaitlin McGuffie (aka Rosa)

short-term fitness bootcamp goals jason yun

Hey there! My name is Kaitlin McGuffie or as Jason calls me Rosa – it’s a long random story, ask me about it sometime!
 .
I live in Hilliard with my husband Rick, and our 5 year old fox  terrier/Chihuahua, Dexter. I’m an energetic and fun-loving person. I love meeting new people and always do my best to make you feel welcome at our studio. You might even see me dancing along to music during the workout – don’t be afraid to join in!
 .
I’ve been an Improvement Warrior since the fall of 2009. Throughout the years, I have not only lost weight, I’ve gained confidence, strength, and a true love for helping others achieve these same things. I’ve been coaching IWF clients since January of 2015 and am continuing to learn and grow each day.
I strongly believe that we all must take time to do what makes our souls happy and I’ve found that happiness at IWF – I hope you will too.
 .
During the day I am the Director of Events and Foundation Programs for the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians.
I lead the Academy’s events as well as manage programs that encourage medical students to consider a career in family medicine. I went to college at Otterbein College and graduated with my Bachelors of Arts Degree in 2010.
 .
I may just be starting out in my fitness coaching path, but I am so looking forward to working with you and helping you grow alongside me. I’ve learned so much at IWF and if anyone that knows me knows, I ask a lot of questions and am always willing to share all that I’ve learned. Looking forward to meeting you.

Improvement Warrior Fitness Assistant Coach

Jerome (JT) Haughey

Hi! I am J.T. Haughey, and I am the newest coach here at Improvement Warrior Fitness. I am originally from Northeast Ohio, where I learned to love athletics (particularly football) at a young age. My love for athletics switched to a passion for fitness and nutrition when I began Strongman training my junior year of high school. After high school I was lucky enough to earn a scholarship to continue my football career into college. Two years into college I decided to end my football journey due to multiple sustained injuries (I will talk details in person if you want to ask). I transferred to The Ohio State University where I am currently working towards my B.S. in Exercise Science.

My passion is still towards fitness and nutrition, I love to push myself in the gym and always use myself as a test subject. I still enjoy strongman training, but in the past couple years I have discovered an enjoyment for Obstacle Course Racing. I like to lift heavy things and run far distances. My favorite thing about coaching is to see improvement, and as long as you are willing to work, I am willing to help you! I cannot wait to see how much you will grow during your time here at Improvement Warrior Fitness and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
